About IMS
Welcome to the section on IMS.
The first version of IMS was developed in the mid-1990s. This version was written in FoxPro and was supported on both the Mac and PC platforms. Each AEA housed their own data and on a regular basis uploaded the data to the Central Processing Center. Around 2002, the system was rewritten as a web application. In addition, the application and database was housed on a central server.
This section was designed primarily for data entry personnel who enter and maintain data in IMS.
